RingCentral is a cloud-based communications platform that specializes in VoIP telephony and video meetings. The plan that MedTrainer subscribes to includes integrations with Salesforce, Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) and Gong.io. The account also has SMS and Fax capabilities, coaching tools for managers (Monitor, Whisper, Barge) and Analytics.

This document will focus on how to send fax through the RingCentral App.

Fax

Each RingCentral device has a the fax functionality enabled by default. The number that you should provide the fax sender should be your direct number, not the main company number (888-337-0288). Your account is configured with certain defaults for fax such as the style of cover page that you use (you can choose another one) and the number that you send your faxes from.

If you receive a fax from somebody, you will receive an email notifying you that you have received a fax and if you are logged into any of the RingCentral applications, it will also show up in these.

Sending Fax

You may also send faxes through the app on RingCentral. To send a fax through the Desktop app:

1. Open the RingCentral App
   
   

   Open

   

2. Select Phone

3. Hover your mouse over Fax and click on the plus [+] sign
   
   

4. Enter the number or contact to send the fax to
   
   

5. Select a cover page

6. Add a cover page note optional

7. Attach the file to send (up to 50MB)

8. Click Send
